Client: VTN (KVTN) is a faith-based non-profit television network founded in 1988. VTN is the only christian television network headquartered in Arkansas and has a broadcast reach extending to over half of Arkansas and into the boot-heel of Missouri as well as covering the Memphis, Tennessee area. VTN is carried on over 200 cable systems, DirecTV, Dish and AT&T U-verse.
Challenge: Create an immersive environment accommodating several complex content types while maintaining a cohesive and clean design the client can self-manage on a daily basis with minimal time and effort. The primary goals were to provide a dynamic program schedule while also offering daily up-to-date steaming video content in sync with an existing YouTube channel. Providing an e-commerce shopping component for VTN-related merchandise was also needed. Other functionality included allowing users to find VTN in their area, make online donations, submit prayer requests, and learn more about VTN’s program providers and what’s going on in the VTN community.
