Web Site Account Executive

We Are:
An established Little Rock web development firm (16 years) specializing in designing, programming, hosting, marketing and maintaining interactive web sites, web applications, content management systems and databases using Internet-based technologies, while also providing print work and e-media services.

Looking For:
A full-time person with proven sales and marketing experience who can combine the best of web and traditional marketing and business development strategies and apply them to client web site projects and internal company objectives.

This person should be very detail-oriented, well organized, personable, and able to professionally communicate verbally and in writing involving web site project proposals, presentations and marketing materials. This person should also be energetic, customer service-oriented and a team player who enjoys the fast paced environment of a small business, with the ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines in a web and print production environment.

Essential attributes of this position include trustworthiness, dependability, creativity, good assessment and analytical skills, and a good positive attitude with a strong work ethic. You need good verbal and excellent written communication skills and a supportive leadership style that cultivates a team approach that is flexible and responsive to an ever-changing technology industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, communicate and sell web solutions for client projects using marketing and business development skills.
  • Meet with clients and in-house team members to translate client business needs and technology expectations into project documents in the form of creative briefs, site outlines, scope documents, and project plans, which should ultimately lead to project approvals.
  • Write professional creative briefs, site outlines, scope documents, project plans, schedule of deliverables and request for proposal response documents using experienced marketing and technical/creative writing skills.
  • Participate as the analytical lead in meetings with clients and in-house team members to formulate strategies based on analysis of backend and web usage that will facilitate the client's objectives.
  • Forecast and measure the affects of marketing and business development strategies on a per client basis.
  • Assist with web traffic reports to aid in forecasting and measuring components of development projects.
  • Provide hands-on marketing and production leadership to development team members to ensure projects meet desired budget, scope and schedule expectations.
  • Provide online marketing strategies and services for projects involving search engine optimization techniques.
  • Communicate regularly via phone and email with clients and team members regarding projects and their status.
  • Ensure and enhance the integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of company's internal project development process as it affects meeting multiple project deadlines.
  • Multi-task by juggling multiple tasks including projects, web site updates, marketing plans, client meetings, schedules and budgets to make sure everything works smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Four years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a web development or technical environment; OR a 2 or 4-year degree/certificate in web development or related area of computer science, marketing, business development or production management.
  • Strong overall analytical skills and demonstrated success approaching and creatively solving marketing and business development issues within a team environment.
  • A high level of enthusiasm, strong initiative and consistent energy. You must be a very friendly person - always "on" and able to stay cool under pressure while managing team members who are executing multiple projects varying in scope.
  • Knowledge of the technical elements and processes involved in web site and web application development projects.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe products, and the use of project management tools.
  • Knowledge of the traditional print industry with experience in overseeing the execution of print work projects involving designers and vendors.
  • Be consistently dependable, reliable and respectful of clients and fellow team members.
