JOB OPENING - Web Site / Print Production Manager

We Are:
An established Little Rock web development firm (13 years) specializing in designing, programming, hosting and maintaining interactive web sites, web applications, content management systems and databases using Internet-based technologies, while also providing print work and e-media services.

Looking For:
A candidate with experience who has initiative and great attention to detail, and can independently and efficiently get multiple tasks completed on time from start to finish. You should be able to stay focused, be well organized, personable, energetic, customer service-oriented and a team player that enjoys the fast paced environment of a small business, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a web and print production environment.

Essential attributes of this position include trustworthy, professional, dependable, accurate, efficient, detail-oriented and structured while maintaining a good, positive attitude and a strong work ethic. You need very good written and verbal communication skills, and a supportive leadership style that cultivates a team approach that is flexible and responsive to an ever-changing technology industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients and staff (designers, programmers and sales) to translate client needs and their technology expectations into written project planning documents for client approval.
  • Once approved, coordinate among staff the production of projects and tasks from start to finish through a defined production process to meet deadlines.
  • Keep web/print development team members focused and in sync by determining and managing their daily workloads and production schedules for budgeting and client accountability purposes.
  • Provide hands-on production management leadership to web/print development team members to ensure projects achieve desired budget, timeframe, and deliverable expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients about project needs, including coordinating the details of the project among staff and the client.
  • Ensure the quality of the development process and the results by reviewing the completed project or task for accuracy before being reviewed by the client.
  • Manage project and staff timesheets for review and reporting purposes.
  • Provide search engine optimization services for web site projects.
  • Multi-task - juggle multiple tasks, projects, plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of executing client projects.

Qualifications:
  • Two years of project management, production or customer service experience, preferably in a web development or technical environment; OR a 2 or 4-year degree/certificate in web development or related area of computer science or production management.
  • Strong overall analytical skills and demonstrated success approaching and creatively solving production issues within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the technical elements and processes involved in web site and web application development projects.
  • Knowledge of the printing industry with experience in overseeing the execution of print work projects involving designers and vendors.
  • Experience with the development of Excel spreadsheets, and the use of project management tools.
  • A high level of enthusiasm, strong initiative, and consistent energy. You must be a very friendly person - always "on" and able to stay cool under pressure.
  • Be consistently dependable, reliable and respectful of clients and fellow team members.
